I am a great project starter but a horrible project finisher. A month or so ago and I found myself in the middle of about 10 projects, and I just couldn't take it anymore. So I decided that I wasn't going to let my self start anything new until I finished all of my current projects. It was difficult, but I managed to stick to my plan and these are some of the results:
I made throw pillows for my sofa.
I made myself a skirt.
Kiley asked for one so I made her one as well.
Finished several (calligraphy) baby gifts (sorry no pictures).
And this is my final one! One more flip flop to go then I will be done!!!
Not quite sure what I will do next, but I will keep you posted!
I am SO this way too. Couldn't even tell you how many projects I have laying around unfinished. So GOOD FOR YOU! LOVE the smocked dresses. You are getting me inspired to start on Charlotte's bishop. Whoops, here comes another project. :)
ReplyDeleteYour smocking is SOOO beautiful! I am beyond impressed. I have to tell you the funniest thing... I had a dream last week that I was in your wedding, was supposed to read scripture and couldn't find the right passage (at which point you could hear the evening crickets outside in the silence while I was fumbling, and I said, "Crickets... literally",) then your reception was on an inlet of the ocean, y'all were trick waterskiers, so everyone at the reception was doing ski jumps. Then I woke up. So now that I've been in your wedding, I hope I get to see you at some point soon and maybe we can meet Mr. Baggett!
