Graham - 5 Months

Graham was 5 months old on Monday which blows my mind!  How in the world can he already be 5 months old?  On on hand I am thrilled to be done with the newborn stage and sleeping through the night but on the other hand I am so sad that the months seem to be going by so quickly.

He is full of new tricks these days...he can roll from front to back and back to front.  With his new rolling ability he has become a stomach sleeper (like his mom).  For the most part he sleeps 11-12 hours at night which is WONDERFUL!  His motor skills and hand-eye coordination are greatly improving.  He grabs at anything within arms reach, and it goes directly into his mouth.  I can't feel any teeth yet, but I am sure it wont be long.  His neck continues to get stronger, and it wont be long before he can sit up on his own.

Everyday it seems that he does something new, and we take great joy in seeing him grow and develop.

This is his schedule currently:
6:30-7:00  Wake Up
7:00 Eat
7:30-9:00 Play
9:00-11:00 Nap 1
11:00 Eat
11:30-1:00 Play
1:00-3:00 Nap 2
3:00 Eat
3:30-6:30 Play
6:30 Bath
7:00 Eat
7:30 Bed
10:00 Dream Feed

Say "Cheese"

About a month ago we had some professional pictures made of our growing little family.  It was a rainy, cold morning but somehow Ann Wade managed to get some really great shots.  I am so pleased with the pictures, and Ann Wade was amazing to work with... if you are looking for a photographer check her out!

We didn't tell anyone that we had these made....  So we framed some and surprised our moms for Mothers Day.  Anything to do with their grandson is sure to be a hit!

These are some of my favorites.

Covenant Child

Our sweet boy was baptized this past Sunday, May 20th. It was a beautiful service, and a day that we will always remember. We are so thankful to our family and friends who came in town to celebrate with us, but we are most thankful to God for the covenant He established with His people and their children.

My friend Alison (English Pea Studio) put these together for me.  You can visit her shop by clicking on the sidebar button.

Cormans

Baggetts, Chapmans, Aunt Betty and Aunt Nancy

Graham fell asleep just as we were walking up to the front of the church.

After the service we hosted a brunch at the Village Tavern, and no function is complete without an Edgar's cake!  Yum.

Brooks was baptized last weekend and gave Graham some pointers.

Grandaddy (Nick's Dad) and Uncle Ed - can you believe that they are just cousins...they could certainly pass as brothers!

It was a special week for our family and again we are so blessed to have a sweet, healthy son.  We thank God daily for him and pray that as he grows he will come to know and love Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
