Project Time

All of you who know me know that I am most always in the middle of some sort of project whether it be smocking/sewing, calligraphy, upholstery, or some random home project it always seems to be something. Well this weekend the "project" was to pressure wash the deck, driveway, and walk way. Thanks to our friends Rick and Rhonda Campbell, who let us borrow their pressure washer, we were able to knock out the task, and it made such a difference!

Loving Being Married

We have been married for almost 3 months now and we are loving it! We still have lots to learn and experience, but for now we are having a blast.

For instance...I walked outside the other day to find Nick washing my car without asking him! It really is the little things in life that mean the most.

The Good Old Days

Back when I was in high school and college I spent every holiday and most every summer at our house in Destin. Now that I live 4 hours away, have short holidays and no time off in the summer I rarely make it down any more.

However this past weekend we were able to make a quick trip down with Sarah Harper and the Branchs.

We had a wonderful time relaxing by the pool, watching Wimbledon, cooking, and enjoying homemade ice cream! Hope to go back again very soon.
